18/02/06 Getting to London

Well, we're finally off...
30 hrs travelling time, changing at Singapore and Frankfurt.




We eventually arrive at Heathrow at 8am London time. Considering Sara's fear of flying, she did incredibly well - even managed a couple of hours sleep after several glasses of wine. We then embarked on a mission to find Clapham Junction on public transport. Jet lagged, freezing and weighed down by our backpacks, we managed to catch the tube, the train and a black cab (which Gemma stacked it in) to our room, where we promptly dumped our stuff and headed to town to drink our first pint of English beer... Guiness.
